Biographie
Martin Schick, artiste interdisciplinaire de base, est le manager culturel du quartier bluefactory depuis 2018. Retourné à ce contexte local après plus de 15 ans de tournées dans le monde entier où il a développé et montré ses propres oeuvres de performance, son travail continue d’être conceptuel et critique, mais accessible et participatif. La dévouement à la gestion culturelle, l’enseignement et l’activisme suit l’envie de co-créer une autre société, dont la pratique institutionnelle - notamment la construction d’organisations fantastiques - est un outil. Faisant partie du réseau européen reshape.network, il travaillait sur les modèles de gouvernance équitable, ce qui lui amène aujourd’hui à organiser des processus de transformations collaboratives, entre autre pour la coopérative Kalkbreite à Zurich.

bluefactory walk&talk
The former Cardinal brewery in the heart of the city of Fribourg has opened up to a broad population in recent years and is now a laboratory-like pulsating innovation quarter. Culture (in its expanded understanding) plays an important role in this ecosystem, driving and binding at the same time. Thus, the bluefactory project becomes an example of an institution's daring to expand and set itself up transversally. A walk through the bluefactory micro-universe with Martin Schick reveals opportunities, obstacles and perspectives.
